The couple were frustrated that the process was taking so long. There were no legal issues concerning their property, with the delays due simply to the poor performance and lack of urgency shown by the original solicitors. We explained that we would have to start the process from scratch as we could not rely on any work carried out by the previous solicitors. The clients understood and agreed. We were then able to exchange Contracts on 22nd September, barely one week later.
