Jade joined GT Stewart in June 2024 having completed the Bar Training Course at the University of Law in May 2024. Achieving a high distinction in her postgraduate studies, Jade was called to the Bar of England and Wales by The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in October 2024.

Jade previously worked in private children law proceedings and financial remedy proceedings giving her a broad understanding across the matters in the Family Courts.

Jade is now based in the St Albans office assisting on a range of Public Law Family cases and handles her own small case load.

Jade represents clients that include:

• Cases where parents are involved with Social Services (Pre-Proceedings Meetings, Child Protection and Child In Need);
• Parents in care proceedings

Jade assists with cases that include:

• Public Law Proceedings (Care Proceedings and applications for Emergency Protection Orders) representing parents and other parties with an interest in the case, including those invited to intervene;
• Special Guardianship Order Applications;
• Placement Order and Adoption Order Applications;
• Deprivation of Liberty Applications (children);
