National Law firm Simpson Miller recently announced the closure of their national conveyancing department. It has been reported that this news created a mass exodus of staff who are keen to secure employment elsewhere. Unfortunately Simpson Miller had not prepared for this occurrence and, as a result, clients are experiencing an unacceptable level of client care. Clients have reported that they have been abandoned and ignored with no one available to manage or update their transaction. Whilst we understand that an arrangement has been made to outsource support to another firm, this may not be a satisfactory arrangement for those involved. If you are impacted by this situation and would like to talk to a firm who can help, please get in touch. Our conveyancing team may be able to step in to push the transaction through.
