Herts County Council seeks empty-nesters

Herts County Council has identified empty-nesters, couples whose children have grown up and left home, as a way of meeting the demand for new foster parents. An appeal in St Albans Council`s Community News publication directs anyone interested in becoming a foster carer to their fostering website: Hertfordshire Fostering

As the Newsletter rightly says: Empty nesters can make great foster carers because they`ve already got the skills and experience needed to look after children and teenagers.
